MORE ABOUT WATERSAFE
We offer the unique, award-winning “Smart Fish”
curriculum developed by Ginny (Flahive) Ferguson and her expert
staff at Watersafe Swim School. Since 1971, this comprehensive
method has successfully taught survival skills and advanced
technique to thousands of students (from age 10 days to adult).
The method has been improved through the inspiration and expertise
of Novaquatics head coach Dave Salo, PhD (also a 2000 USA Olympic
Swim Coach). It has evolved into an orderly schedule of gradients
providing all students with the opportunity to master the fundamentals
that efficiently transition into the same winning stroke technique
used by the national, world, and Olympic champions of NOVA.
Watersafe Swim School and Nova Swim School have solid reputations
for providing the highest quality lessons available. Our teachers
are carefully chosen and extensively trained in the methods
of the swim school and team. They are certified through the
Red Cross.
We believe love and understanding within a structured, innovative
environment will produce a safe, happy swimmer. Our loving
teachers truly believe that each child is an individual. Therefore,
we strive to personalize the instruction to fir each student’s
special needs and abilities.
